About me

Hello, I’m Sandra

I’m a counsellor based in Mount Barker, offering both in-person and online sessions for adults and teenagers across South Australia. My practice is built on a simple intention — to alleviate suffering and be of service.

I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and accepted just as they are. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s happening in your life, untangle what feels overwhelming, and reconnect with your own strengths and wisdom.

With a background in secondary education, I understand the challenges that teenagers and their parents are facing today.

I can help with a range of issues such as:

  • anxiety and depression

  • life transitions

  • relationship difficultlies

  • work issues

  • feelings of being stuck

  • lack of purpose

I can also help formulate a plan so you can live the life you really want.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education

  • Diploma of Counselling

  • Currently completing Graduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling

  • Life Coaching

  • Meditation and holistic therapies

  • Registered Counsellor (ACA, registration number R81320)

I warmly welcome people of all backgrounds, genders, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Autism and Neurodiversity Support

Over the years, I've developed deep expertise in supporting autistic and neurodivergent teens and their families. As a parent of an autistic young adult myself, I understand this journey from both professional and personal perspectives. I see neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human difference — not something to be fixed or changed.

In our work together, I offer a neurodiversity-affirming space where individuals and their family can explore their experiences openly, without judgement or expectation. I understand what masking costs, and what sensory overwhelm feels like.

Whether you or your loved one is newly diagnosed, experiencing burnout, or you're trying to understand how to navigate some challenges — my aim is to help everyone feel seen, supported, and empowered.
